We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. Also, the textures in the background seem heavily detailed and uncompressed, meaning a ton of load time for an element that isn't even the main focus of the design.
The navigation is also difficult to figure out. While you've presented all of the information here in front of me, I don't feel like any interaction on my part is needed, which is something most people look for (their input). The structure of the site doesn't seem to allow for more information than what you've shoved in there, which means that future updates won't really be possible unless the structure expands to fit.
